Gratitude improves your finances

When you live a grateful life, you spend less money on stress reduction.  Practicing gratitude on a daily basis transforms your mind from a sense of lack to a sense of abundance.  You won’t feel the urge to eat unhealthy and expensive foods to reduce your stress, you won’t have the need to go shopping and spend more than you budgeted so that you can relieve stress.  In fact, living a grateful life doesn’t always mean you will more money…but it will always determine how you spend your money.  If your spending habits contribute to stress when the bill is due…did it actually relieve any stress at all.  Once being grateful becomes who you are and not just something you do…you will find the energy and joy in the things that you already have.  It will help you never want something more than you need it.  Pursue what you desire while maintaining an appreciation for what you already have.  That is the sweet spot.  One last take away, when you are living in an abundance mindset, you will have the inclination to express kindness and give back more.  We feel less stressed and we recognize the value we can bring to others and it helps us see our purpose.  So…if you want to improve your finances…start with gratitude.  NeverStop.
